Optematic Foundations

$30,000.00 every month for 2 months

Discovery, Analysis, and Execution Planning

Standard Duration: 2 Months

Optematic Foundations is a structured discovery and execution-planning engagement designed to remove ambiguity before anything is built. This product defines what will be built, why it matters, and how it will operate once live, ensuring implementation work begins with clarity, alignment, and realistic expectations.

Foundations is intentionally business-focused and planning-heavy. It exists to translate business needs into clear, executable technical work so delivery does not stall, restart, or burn time rediscovering decisions.

What This Product Is

Optematic Foundations is the planning phase that sets the entire engagement up for success.

It exists to:

  • Establish shared understanding across stakeholders

  • Document systems, processes, and constraints

  • Define a realistic and prioritized delivery scope

  • Prevent rework during implementation

This product does not include implementation or build work. It is designed to stand alone and transition cleanly into Optematic Build.

Who This Product Is For

Optematic Foundations is designed for organizations that:

  • Know they need automation, integration, or analytics

  • Have multiple stakeholders with competing priorities

  • Want predictable delivery timelines and costs

  • Need clarity before committing to implementation

This product is not a fit if:

  • You are ready to immediately start building

  • Requirements are already fully defined and validated

  • You are looking for execution or operational support

What Optematic Foundations Covers

During this engagement, Optematic works with business and technical stakeholders to define a build-ready plan.

Included activities:

  • Business process discovery and stakeholder interviews

  • Current-state system and process documentation

  • Future-state system, process, and orchestration design

  • Requirements definition and user story creation

  • User story grooming and prioritization

  • Integration and automation opportunity analysis

  • Technical approach, assumptions, and constraints

  • Delivery plan, milestones, dependencies, and success criteria

All outputs are designed to directly support implementation without re-discovery.

Delivery Model

Optematic Foundations is delivered using a managed capacity model, not hourly billing.

Delivery Pod

  • Business Analyst

  • Project Manager

  • Solution Architect

Team allocation and effort are managed internally by Optematic to deliver outcomes within scope.

Individual hours are not tracked or billed. Capacity is allocated to deliver clarity and planning outcomes, not time.

Duration and Structure

  • Standard duration: 2 months

  • Pricing: Fixed monthly fee

  • Time-boxed: Engagement ends at the conclusion of the 2-month term

  • Non-renewing: Foundations does not auto-renew

The duration is intentionally fixed to ensure decisions are made, documented, and finalized without open ended discovery.

Guardrails

To protect scope, timeline, and delivery quality, the following guardrails apply:

  • Strict scope: Discovery and planning only

  • Fixed duration: No extensions without a new agreement

  • No build work allowed: No configuration, development, or implementation

These guardrails ensure Foundations produces actionable outputs rather than partial execution.

What Optematic Foundations Does Not Include

The following are explicitly excluded from this product:

  • System configuration or development

  • Integration or automation implementation

  • Proofs of concept beyond planning-level validation

  • Ongoing operational support

  • Platform execution or runtime fees

  • Open-ended exploration beyond defined scope

These services are covered under Optematic Build, Optematic Automate, Optematic Managed, and/or the Optematic Orchestration Platform, if applicable.

What You Receive

At the conclusion of Optematic Foundations, you receive:

  • A complete, prioritized, build-ready backlog

  • Clearly defined scope and acceptance criteria

  • Documented current-state and future-state designs

  • A delivery plan with milestones and dependencies

  • Technical assumptions and operational intent

  • A clean transition point into implementation

These outputs are designed to move directly into Optematic Build without rework.

What Happens After Foundations

After completion, you choose how to proceed:

  1. Proceed to Optematic Build — Implementation begins using the approved plan

  2. Pause — Retain the backlog and delivery plan for later use

  3. Exit — Use the deliverables with another delivery team

No further services are assumed or required.
